Scott Pattenden
Committed Conservative Campaigner
I first joined the Conservative Party in 1997 and since then I have worked vigorously to ensure that our message reaches everyone across local communities the length and breadth of our great country.
I have campaigned with local activists in local, general and by-elections across the country. Offering support to others has helped me make friends and deliver victory for Conservative candidates nationwide. I have run entire campaigns for my local MP and Councillors delivering success every time
It has been one of my greatest honours to hold several offices in my local association and area. From Chairman of the YC's many years ago, to Chairman of Beckenham Conservatives for four years, as well as Chairman for London South East Area Conservatives for two. I am currently Deputy Chairman for London Region
I have stood for local council, MEP (London) and MP (East Ham), learning much each time. From my first hustings in a small village hall, to addressing over 300 people and media at Southwark cathedral, I have continued to meet the challenges. Never forgetting the essential miles walked, leaflets delivered and people canvassed
Outside of politics I take an active part in the local community. I've led scout trips to Austria and Luxembourg as well as fundraising for the local RAF Air cadets. I also volunteer each year for the Royal british legion, helping to sell poppies. This cause is particularly close to my heart having previously served in the HAC
